"I initially came to see Androulla for
my asthma. At the time I was having several

"For the past 19 years my family and
friends have seen how numerous health and
emotional problems have taken away the part
of me that was happy funny and outgoing.
I had so many health problems but as each one was treated the treatment would cause another more serious problem. I had asthma and was treated with steroids. I developed eczema and spent several years in agony, covered with creams and bandages. I became very sensitive to the sun and could not go out into the sunlight, even on a cloudy day, without getting badly burnt. I caught frequent infections and had to take several courses of antibiotics. I had so much pain in my joints I was referred to a rheumatologist and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and possibly Lupus.
